SEPTEMBER 2004 17th SA WINE OF THE YEAR AWARDS
Congratulation to Wangolina Station for being judged the runner-up
in the Professional Judging Category to the best Sauvignon Blanc
for their 2004 release at this years SA Wines of the Year Award
announced at the Hyatt Hotel, Adelaide on the 27th August 2004.

the recent 2003 Hobart Wine Show Cellarmasters Black Wattle received
the Top Gold Medal for their Mt Benson Shiraz 2001, Silver for
Addison Section 49 Chardonnay 2002 and Lysander Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot
2001, and Bronze for Addison Section 49 Cabernet Sauvignon 2001
and Black Wattle Mt Benson Chardonnay 2001. |

Ralph Fowler Wines has been awarded a Gold Medal for
their 2002 Shiraz Viognier, and a Bronze for their 2003 Sauvignon
Blanc at the 2003 Great International Wine Award MUNDUS Vini held
in Neustadt, Germany. |

Wattle Wines have had success at the recent Limestone Coast Wine
Show with Silver Medals for their 2001 Wrights Bay Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet
Franc/Shiraz and 2002 Black Wattle Cabernet Sauvignon and 2001
Black Wattle Shiraz and a further six bronze medals for a number
of other wines. |

won a Silver Medal, being 3rd overall in a class of 221 wines,
with their 2002 Shiraz at the Adelaide Wine
Show. This
wine also received a two Bronze Medals at the Rutherglen & Small
Winemakers Show. |
